The Keson Aluminium Standard String Chalk Line Reel is one of the most popular and original offerings in the chalk line category. It provides a perfectly straight line that is temporary to almost permanent, making it ideal for a wide range of construction and carpentry tasks. The tool is compact and lightweight, with a length of up to 30m (100ft), and can hold about 2-3oz of chalk. The rectangle sliding-door chalk fill closure is self-sealing, ensuring a spill-free refill. The synthetic (Poly) line is stronger, more durable, and dampness does not affect it. The twisted line structure is economical, picks up more chalk, and puts down more chalk than braided lines. The standard line thickness is 1-1.25mm, with a similar size to a felt tip pen line. However, there is a bit of overspray on the lines. The 1X rewind with a 1:1 gear ratio can pull 100 feet in about 60 seconds, making it a highly efficient tool for marking straight lines accurately.
